BoundTogether
My game is a 2D platformer where the main mechanic is the bond between my Player and a Symbiote creature that accompanies them.
The entire gameplay revolves around the distance between them. If I keep the Player close to the Symbiote, it regenerates health very quickly, but moves and jumps less. To gain more speed and higher jumps, I need to move away from the Symbiote, but this comes at a cost: the Player starts to lose health constantly.
The goal is to use this risk-reward tradeoff to progress through the levels, which have platforms and blocks that I can push to solve small puzzles. The Player's health is global, starting at 200, and the Symbiote also has its own health.
Use the arrow keys to move the player and use the mouse to move the symbiote
